About About

The Duke CCBVP involves investigators from the School of Medicine, the Nicholas School of the Environment, the Law School, and Trinity College of Arts and Sciences. The Center includes an Administrative Core, three Research Cores (neurobiology and neurodevelopmental disease, pulmonary biology and disease, and environmental health policy), four Facility Cores (DNA microarray, proteomics, inhalational toxicology, and advanced computational technologies), and a Community Outreach and Education Program. The Center builds on established strengths in environmental health, toxicology, genetics/genomics, bioinformatics, spatial analytics, and environmental policy and ethics. The Duke CCBVP capitalizes on substantial ongoing commitments by Duke University to develop strong research programs in environmental health.
