NIGL
The Nicholas Institute Graduate Liaisons is designed to facilitate communications
between the Institute and the Duke student body. A member of NIGL joins the
institute for regular meetings to hear about current Institute activities and
opportunities for students.
NIGL was initiated by interested Nicholas School doctoral students in early 2006. NIGL connects the Institute to graduate students whose work and expertise touches these areas. Among NIGL’s initiatives for the coming semester are: the compilation of a directory of graduate students with relevant research interests; the development of a rapid research response network that can quickly provide information and brainpower to Institute projects; a conduit through which graduate research can be passed along to the appropriate Institute staff members for inclusion in their work.
