Duke Environmental Leadership Program: Continuing and
Executive Education
Continue your Nicholas School Education! The Duke Environmental
Leadership (DEL) Program allows environmental professionals
to hone their environmental management skills and stay
on top of new developments in the field, through short
courses, certificate programs, and the DEL-Master of
Environmental Management degree program for mid-career
professionals.
Short Courses

Executive education courses are offered throughout the
year and organized into two- to five-day sessions. Some
of these courses include: Forest Appraisal, Geographic
Information Systems Analysis for Conservation Site Design,
Satellite Remote Sensing for Conservation Analysis,
Implementation of the National Environmental Policy
Act, and New Advances in Ecological Risk Assessment.
Nicholas School alumni receive a 10% discount on all
short courses.
Certificate Programs
