Mentor a Nicholas School Student

The Nicholas School Alumni Council offers a mentoring program to Nicholas School students. The program provides mentoring and informal academic, professional, and life skills guidance for students as they progress through their program of study at the Nicholas School.

The mentoring program is designed to match students with current members of the Alumni Council and/or other interested alumni, and to provide informal opportunities for mentoring without overwhelming either the mentors or the mentees with requirements or commitments. Mentees may ask mentors for academic, professional, and/or life skills advice and guidance.  Mentors may be asked to provide comments on resumes, answer questions about professional etiquette, answer questions about balancing work and home life, answer questions about career directions, etc.  The role of the mentors is not to provide job opportunities to the mentees, but rather to help them develop academically and professionally. Please read the full program description and the mentoring program Q&A for more information about the program.
